NEW VEG
Over the weekend, find a vegetable or fruit that you have NEVER had before - then try to find a Detox recipe for it....variety is the spice of DETOX LIFE!
Spinach, Cinnamon and Cloves
Wendy from the USA has asked about Spinach, Cinamon and Cloves, it's a big YES to all these - nutmeg too, in fact all spices and herbs. It is really easy to think that 'detoxing' has no flavour but I find the richness of flavour is what always amazes me when you 'go healthy'
DETOX in readiness for DETOX...
Make sure that your cupboards and fridge are free from Non Detox goods, chuck out the mince pies, tuck into the leftover chocs and box up the caffeine. Once you start your programme, it's best not to have anything in temptations way.....

JANE SCRIVNER Detox Recipes
Finally, under some duress and bags of reluctance (only because I don't wish to have anyone go to the trouble of making something they don't like).......I am starting a DETOX YOURSELF RECIPE blog/page.
I will start by putting recipes I know, have experienced, have had made for me, have seen in books on this blog and if it is useful to people then I will dedicate a page and even start an 'interactive' page where we can share stuff - for now you can put them on the comments bit and they will be uploaded for all to see.
So if you know of anything that is both tasty and Detox, then let us know!
My first one will be on by end of play today........scrummy!

last time I did the detox I made my own pistacio ice cream by blending shelled pistacios with natural sheeps yoghurt and honey and then whacking the whole lot back in the empty sheeps yoghurt tub and putting it into the freezer. You can leave it until it fully freezes but it will be slightly tough to scoop out so I recommend whipping it up again when it is partially frozen so that it is softer when ready.
